CELP

CELP - Catalina Environmental Leadership Program. This is Carly with Marguerite, our camp counselor.

We just returned from 3 days in Catalina where we snorkeled, kayaked, learned about organic gardening and composting, hiked, and challenged ourselves on the climbing wall. We loved it!

St. Patrick's Day

Today's after school snack was Shamrock Toasties: english muffin, melted cheddar cheese and spinach leaves shaped like a 4-leaf clover. A big hit!

In honor of St. Pat here's an Irish proverb sent to me from a dear friend:

Principal For The Day

Students at my children's school earn Taft Tiger tickets by showing respect, making good decisions, and solving problems. The more tickets earned the bigger and better the reward. Cooper earned 100 Taft Tiger tickets and got to be principal for the day! He had so much fun making announcements in the classrooms and working with Principal Coe. We are proud of you, Cooper!
